Kurt
And merry Xmas to you too, last of the Routmasters, Hey Ho! You could start a page on our site devoted to old buses in films.
Not many updates? Actually over three hundred small changes, corrections and additions to ReelStreets during the last couple of weeks. Railway Children now up, and another 6 films coming in the next two /three weeks. But, at the same time I have
a property business to run, www.propertiesumbria.com,
a country house to see to www.lapreghiera.com,
lead soldiers to sort out, www.soldierssoldiers.com,
postcards to sell, www.cartolinetunstill.com,
Umbrian anecdotes to collect, www.tunstillsumbria.com,
the British language to organise, www.tunstillsdislexicon.com,
so I have plenty to occupy myself
Best wishes
John

Congratulations on a a very interesting site. I have been researching the locations and filming of 7 Ealing Films (Went the Day Well, Hue and Cry, Passport to Pimlico, The Blue Lamp, The Lavender Hill Mob, The Titfield Thunderbolt and The Ladykillers). Many of the locations were used more than once by Ealing, for instance The Blue Lamp and The Lavender Hill Mob share some. I suspect that the bl;ock of flats in I Beleieve in You is the same one as in the Blue Lamp and that some of the scenes around Battersea are near the locations around Battersea Power Station in Hue and Cry.
Incidentally there is a website and a publication devoted to buses in films! See lbtransit.com
