. . . . . and there they are! Manuel Gurtner advises that this film was shot during 1981 in the area surrounding the ski resort of Lenzerheide-Valbella in the Swiss Canton of Grisons and that this is possibly Lenzerheide.

A mountain top, just for Simon! Manuel tells us that the cable car is on its way to the “Parpaner Rothorn” summit which stands at 2865 m.

An Alpine ski resort. Manuel identifies this as Valbella on the north shore of Lake Heid. In the background stands the mountain schoolhome “Casoja” and on the left, out of view, is “Hotel Seehof”.

Says Hotel Seehof on the board.....a clue?

Walking back uphill is always the tiring part of sledging. Manuel Gurtner advises that at Sharmoin, another cable car runs down to its lower station at Lai, between Lenzerheide and Valbella and can be seen here in the background to the right.
