A country churchyard

Fortnam and Masons, Piccadilly, London. Inside is a posh grocers, and an expensive tea shop. At the back of the shop is a stairway with a notice which reads "Watch these steps". I did, for several minutes, but nothing happened. Should I complain I wonder?

Great West Road area? 'This shows in the background the Turriff Building, now '1000 Great West Road', Brentford; Christie and Bogarde have just emerged from what is now known as Computer House (built 1963, but i haven't found what it was called in 1965). The overhead shot of them leaving the carpark is from the top of this 'Computer House'.' best Roland-François Lack

Now. Bridges really come into the "stately home" category, they don't change much, but we'll pass it this time. Thanks John

Now. John must have got his feet wet taking some of these.

Same time, same place.

Now. So alright, already. I know the lady is on the wrong side of the river. I know she's at the wrong end of the bridge. I know she hasn't got many clothes on. I know that all the entry rules for Reelstreets are broken. But its got to be one of the better pics submitted so far. Jolly good effort Mark Bradly.

Now. Mi bruvver, who can't decide whether to play the Julie Christie part.

image no 15

Now. Again, or the Dirk Bogarde part. A fiver each to John.

Near St Paul's Cathederal? - Lord Holford's Paternoster Square development, now redeveloped beyond recognition. Christie and Harvey are outside of, and go into, Sudbury House (demolished 1998) ~ Roland-François Lack

Notting Hill Gate Underground? Or perhaps not... 'logically Christie and Bogarde should be at Bond Street Station, having just left a Bond Street gallery, to get a train for Notting Hill. Furthermore, there aren't the long escalators at Notting Hill that we see them descend'. ~ Roland-François Lack. Peter Robinson also believes this not to be NHG (RL)

Just off, or in Wimpole Street, W1, according to Tony Reeves. Thanks Tony

Eli Perl has provided this and the following two additional captures. This is the corner of South End Road and Downshire Hill in NW3 and you can see the Heath to the right . . .

image no 40

. . . but in Eli's comparison, trees obscure the view.

Jasper House on South End Road, Hampstead. The railings and gate remain the the same . . .

image no 41

. . . and the the sign still reads Jasper House, only now framed by foliage that wasn’t there 50 years ago.

<?php echo 42; ?>

Eli points out that Hampstead is a conservation area and the external appearance of the houses remains much the same as years ago.

image no 42

The doors and balconies appear the same in Eli's modern view.
