Haines (Hugh Burden) meets Lord Edward Southmere (Derek Nimmo) when he arrives back in London after escaping from China with a microfilm.

Lord Southmere escapes from the car and heads into the Natural History Museum where he hides the microfilm in a dinosaur skeleton. Cromwell Road, London.

Peter took these shots taken through railings as you had to join the entrance queue to get inside.

Hnup Wan (Peter Ustinov) arrives at the museum after his men are ejected by Harris (Deryck Guyler) and his colleagues. The main entrance of the Natural History Museum in South Kensington SW7.

Following Lord Southmere's eventual capture by Hnup Wan's henchmen, Quon (Clive Revill) follows the peer's former nanny, Hettie (Helen Hayes).

After the dinosaur is succesfully removed from the museum, the nannies take the steam lorry with it's load.

After another chase, Hnup Wan watches as the lorry and dinosaur are carried away by train. Although some sources suggest that this is Didcot Railway Centre, after re-watching the film Jonathan Horswell believes that the steam locomotive and rolling stock used indicate that the location was actually the Bicester Military Railway in Oxfordshire.

Having escaped their pursuers, the nannies contact Sir Geoffrey Wilkins and head back to London. Holyport Green, south of Maidenhead, Berksire.
