A fun movie featuring our Gracie. However, it looks like this film is mainly shot in the studio and here we see Grace Perkins (Gracie Fields) outside a high street shop which is clearly a set.

The production features a lengthy car race with Gracie in the rumble seat of one of the vehicles (a seat that folds out of the rear of the car on the exterior) trying to grab the attention of the driver.

  • 'Now' required

The same car with Gracie still aboard, racing through the High Street. Studio set or 'Reel' location? A real location, Bond Street, Ealing, London W5. Henry & Co Furriers were at No 23 and T R Goodman, Hairdressers at No 25. (RL)

Here the car pulls over in front of a London Underground station entrance with Gracie still in the rumble seat. Looks very much like a studio set as, generally, London Underground stations display the name of the station whereas this does not.
