Storyline:

A petty crook whose steals a purse and discovers a compromising letter in it from her boyfriend, who is a wealthy surgeon and married. He starts a blackmail campaign that leads to murder.

Having stolen Caroline’s (Melissa Stribling) wallet Sydney finds the incriminating letter from Robert Mannering (Colin Tapley) and watches the block where she lives and telephones her saying he has the wallet. Robbie Higgins has resolved the location, the junction of Westbourne Street and Stanhope Terrace, London W2.

If the telephone box ever existed it is not there now and I didn't have to wait long for a taxi to fill the scene. (RL)

During the second meeting between Benny and Mannering, Benny shoots him dead and is pursued by the police. Desperate for money to aid his escape abroad he persuades his girlfriend Molly (Susan Shaw) to meet him. Informed of the proposed meeting the police park up to wait. Looking along what was Torquay Street, London W2 with the GWR main line to the right. The area was seen in 'The Knack . . . and How to Get It'.
