pc001. Fulham Road, SW6. Peter Astaire identified
pc002. The cafe is on Fulham Rd at Pulton Place SW6 (It's still there, practically the same).
pc002n. An interior view of the cafe where Carol White has a 'cuppa' during the opening title sequence of 'Poor Cow'. I've tried to get the angles the same as the film and I think I've just about succeeded. The ABC cinema has long gone and has been replaced by a Safeway supermarket. Other than that , it's pretty much recognisable as being the same location. The cafe still does a decent egg & chips! This is at the junction of Fulham Road & North End Road , SW6. - Craig Dalrymple.
pc003. An estate in Hayes, Middlesex.
pc003n. Now. Near Wesley Road or Hesa Road in Hayes, Middlesex. Not the exact house but the small windows adjacent to the front door are quite distinctive. So it's a probability only, hence no fee. But good sleuthing all the same.
pc004. A street with Silver Cloud.
pc004n. Charleville Road, Fulham, W14 looking towards North End Road. (PW) (Modern Photo Added: 10-06-2013)
pc005. Steve Vukic confirms this location to be King Street, Hammersmith. (RL)
pc005n. To be more precise the corner of Leamore Street and King Street, W6. White's husband is eventually bundled into a police car parked on Leamore Street, where Cosh Boy lived. The Ashcroft Square/King's Mall development including an enormous Primark has replaced the buildings seen then. SJ (Modern Photo Added: 20-04-2017)
pc006. The John Collier shop in this picture is almost certainly (99%) in King St Hammersmith on the corner of Bridge Avenue. I worked in the office above the shop from 1972 to 1975! The larger white shop further back used to be Richard Shops. Sue Beach.
pc006n. The south side of King Street with more original buildings including the John Collier now a Halifax on the corner of Bridge Avenue, W6. The action is set outside (then) Woolworths and can also be seen in Seven Green BOttles. SJ (Modern Photo Added: 20-04-2017)
pc007. Charleville Road, Fulham, W14 looking towards North End Road.
pc007n. The same street now. (PW) (Modern Photo Added: 10-06-2013)
pc008. This could be anywhere but is probably all now gone.
Chatteris Street London SE17, now demolished.
Picture available at
Ivan Brouwer ... Steve suggests that this is Manor Place, close to the corner of Penton Place, SE17.
pc008n. Pic copyright of http://heygate.heroku.com, sent in by Ivan... Actually the rear yard of what was Pollock Road running between the New Kent Road and the former Deacon Street, part of the old Palantine Estate (tenements) off the New Kent Road. The tenements were demolished in 1969/1970 in slum clearance programme prior to development of Heygate Estate, also now demolished. I know this because I lived locally, sometimes played in Pollock Road as a child and clearly recall the day Ken Loach and crew invited local youngsters including me to appear in the film. A couple of the kids seen here were schoolmates of mine. I didn't turn up because it meant "bunking off" school! Tom Mulrenan (SJ) (Modern Photo Added: 24-08-2016)
pc009. Probably the same estate and probably all gone... Yes, all gone. The roof of Pollock Road looking either down to Pollock Road itself or the yard featured above. Tom Mulrenan (SJ)

pc010. Did you get the clue? Ormond Road, Richmond.
pc010n. Now. Ormond Road, Hill Rise, Richmond, Surrey, now the Nando's Restaurant, just by the Odeon Cinema.
