I have found information that this movie was filmed in Poole and Isle of Portland, in Dorset.

There is a possibility that it was filmed in more than one port (pier), because on picture bul001b are missing two small buildings, that appear on picture bul001a on the right. Oh, the tricks that these film-makers play!!! Perhabs this large port on bul001a is Poole looking to Isle of Purbeck, and the pictures bul001b (where the two small building are not seen), to bul001k were filmed probably in Portland harbour or Weymouth.
