Reel Streets - British Feature Film / Movie Locations Submission Specifications

Our criteria for inclusion in the lists is as follows..
Films made more than 25 years ago with outside, recognisable, built up location shots. Please, not a grassy verge, or a new building where something once was. We need something recognisable.
Real streets, (REEL STREETS) not "stately homes", or countryside or sets, but Real Streets. If you can identify the grander houses used in some films we’ll be happy to blog the information and credit you.
The shot should including one or more of the principal actors, not just stock exterior shots
Films need to be feature length, 60 - 120 mins, and feature films, not documentaries, advertising films or shorts, and films must have received a commercial distribution and showing.

Rules of Submission
If you have a favourite film with localities suitable for our site, that you can identify, that we haven’t yet put on site and you can pull some stills from the film and produce photos to match, then, as ever, we’ll be happy to include them on site, with full credits to you. But let us know before you expend a large amount of time or effort, just in case someone else is working on the same film.

Many of our original stills on our site will have been included on site as “establishing” shots, to enable everyone to better identify the shot which contains the actor and which scene was often zoomed into in close up. BUT, only the final shot with an actor will be paid for. Take the “now” pics of the “establishing” shots, and we’ll thank you and give you the full credit.

All films need to have been made/released twenty five or more years ago.

All films need to have been made for cinema release/showing.

The original still must contain an actor’s image.

Panoramas, composite shots and establishing shots will all be regarded as a single entry. The photos will take at least three months to appear, from when you send them in.

Anyone can submit pictures, and, by submitting, you will automatically be enrolled for a 12 month subscription.
