Dracula dies, aged 93
11th June 2015
Sir Christopher Lee, the best loved Count Dracula, died yesterday. A loss to film fans world wide. Lee played the arch vampire a dozen times, double arch villain Scaramanga in the Man with the Golden Gun, or was it Dr. No?……….. and countless other baddies over some fifty years.
Often paired with Peter Cushing, some twenty films, this dynamic duo pleased audiences, and the “suits” of the film companies with many offerings. A quick use of our search facility shows just how many, including The Wicker Man, The Devil Rides Out, Dracula, Night of the Big Heat, Corridors of Blood etc., etc., etc.
Always a favourite, Christopher Lee will be missed, but, with a million images on celluloid, analogue and digital media, his name liveth forever.
