identified by Aidan McManus as the corner of St Luke's Road with Tavistock Road, where the Metro Club was sited. This club replaced the half-demolished church (St. Luke's) seen in 'A Hard Day's Night'.

This shot from Aidan replaces one from 2008 looking south down Leamington Road Villas W11, which was close but a street away. So this looks south down St. Luke's Road close to the corner with Tavistock Road. (SJ)

Looking the other way towards the Ha'penny steps with the baths on the right this time, Aidan agrees. The bridge also appears in 'Quadrophenia', 'Dangerous Davies: The Last Detective' and 'The Traitors'.

The long gone bridge with Harrow Rd at the end, the building on the left is still there: this is the bridge from 'Quadrophenia' and 'The Traitors' (1962). Excellent proof from Aidan.

The old bridge that was to the left has clearly been replaced but the wider shot sets the scene.

Looks Notting Hilly years ago... Richard B. adds that just before they're emerging from a house on the west side of Wornington Road and walk towards Golborne Road but then it does cut. The style of the houses (design of bay windows, presence of basements, dogleg design of the low walls next to the steps up to the houses, height of the piers at street level) matches exactly that seen in 1970s old photos of houses in Wornington Road ...

Panning left from the previous capture. And Richard continues ... "this potential section of Wornington Road (or perhaps an adjacent street) have since been redeveloped." Intriguing! Looking at old maps, Wornington Road was a long terrace so perhaps further north on the corner of Munro Mews or Bonchurch Road, all also redeveloped. (SJ)

Richard B took this from the corner of Les Couilles du Chien, whose mantra is "Reuse the Past." Not applied with the levelling of the entire Wornington Road to replace with inferior, one notes with irony. (SJ)

Mmnnnn? ... Found by Steve Randall: Tyringham Hall, Newport Pagnell, Berkshire, Now in private hands, at the time of filming it was the headquarters of the General Osteopathic Council of the UK.

A temporary shot culled from the internet and taken from the other direction. It is hoped that this can be replaced but in the meantime proves Steve's identification of this previously unknown location. (SJ)
