Agent Kenneth Lindsay Jones (Herbert Stass) walks the streets of Berlin at the start of the film. Christoph Gogg identifies this as Thomas-Dehler-Straße/Lichtensteinallee, Berlin, Germany. The building was the Spanish Embassy and closed in 1966, moving to Bonn. The building after closure can be seen at https://timelineimages.sueddeutsche.de/T/00226452_t_120488.jpg At the time of filming it was empty. However, following the fall of the Berlin Wall it once again is home to the Spanish Embassy. Some parts of the house were re-built and now form part of the Hotel The Stue (located in Thomas Dehler Straße) its main entrance remaining as it did in 1966. (RL)

Quiller follows Hengel into a bar where he finds out that they are both working for Pol. Frank Bartoschek tells us that the bar named Zum Blauen Affen (The Blue Ape) still exists at the corner of Weserstraße and Kottbusser Damm at the north end of Hermannplatz in the Neukölln district of Berlin.

After Hengel gives more information about the case, Quiller goes to see school teacher Inge Lindt. Steve Butler advises that the school scenes were filmed at the Berlin University which was in the American Sector.

Quiller starts to feel the affect of being drugged. Christoph Gogg tells us that this was shot on the Stadtring Berlin, in the background is the S-Bahn Station MESSE ICC formerly known as Witzleben. Christopher further advises that all the other car scenes were shot on different locations on the Stadtring Berlin and near Funkturm. (RL)

After Quiller shakes off Hengel, Oktober's men begin to follow. Unidentified location. Christoph Gogg advises that following this capture and before 032 when Quiller is stunned at the end of the shots the Palais am Funkturm is seen briefly. (RL)

As Chris says, it is all rather busy with foliage now but the background building remains although the garages would have stood where the graffiti is now. (RL)
