Another panning shot starts by facing west with the trees of Kensington Gardens in the left background. The buildings in the foreground appear to have stood where Elms Mews is now sited. The camera seems to have been positioned on top of a building on Lancaster Terrace in W2.

Ann crosses Sussex Gardens in Bayswater W2. The buildings to the left were demolished in the mid 1960's and the Royal Lancaster Hotel, built as an office block, now stands in their place.
And there is the Lancaster London, as it is now known. The hotel was featured in 'The Italian Job' and I spent a week there in 1980.
