Can you help:
If you have any information regarding this production, the locations or, even better, some comparison shots please contact us. Images submitted must be in Landscape orientation, as would be seen on the cinema screen, not Portrait.
We are aware that there are films on the site that were added when the criteria for the inclusion of locations was very different from today and, as a result, there may be scenes missing from some productions. Please do not forward additional screen captures to us but bring the detail to our attention, for we do, and are, 're-addressing' these older entries as time allows.

Looking through the perimeter fence of the research station, Professor Michael Heathley (James Donald) and Professor Carrington (Maurice Denham) discus the M7 experimental plane.

At the gatehouse, Major Sam Seagram (Robert Beatty) watches as Professor Heathley and his wife Lydia drive from the station.
- Capture 3
- 'Now' required
Major Seagram and Inspector Carter investigate the death of Professor Carrington. I'd like to think this is a shot with one of fifteen British hammerhead or giant cantilever cranes out of sixty built worldwide in the background . . . . but it's not, it's a matte.
- Capture 4
- 'Now' required
Dr. Dennis Bord visits George, father of test pilot Brian Jackson.
- Capture 5
- 'Now' required
The M7 lies on the sands near the research station. Real pier but a matte for the rest.
- Capture 6
- 'Now' required
During a test flight, technicians at the research station watch the M7 perform.
- Capture 7
- 'Now' required
Another member of the team looks on as Professor Heathley and Brian Jackson put the supersonic craft through it's paces.
- Capture 8
- 'Now' required
Two more of the station's crew see the prototype disappear from view.
- Capture 9
- 'Now' required
A worker at the harbour looks up as a sonic boom echoes across the land when the M7 reaches mach 1. Yet another matted shot.
