Walking down onto the Beach of Solitude, it becomes apparent that it is anything but that! The steps and buildings in this area of the beach at Juan les Pins have since been demolished.

After William buys the hotel, businessmen May (Alfie Bass), Golightly (Willoughby Goddard) and Herbert Hardcastle (Reginald Beckwith) leave the office of former hotel porter’s solicitor. It's possible that this is 34 Grosvenor Square before redevelopment.
If so, this is the rather sorry sight. SJ

When Sid (Gordon Harker) the lift operator sees the potential investors he takes a cab back to the hotel to warn William. Grosvenor Square W1 at the junction of Upper Grosvenor Street and South Audley Street with North Audley Street in the left distance.
A lovely day at the junction but maybe a winter shot would be better. SJ
