Full Circle (aka The Haunting of Julia)

The Lofting's house, where parents Julia and Magnus attempt to save their daughter Kate as she chokes to death on an apple. Simon Fitzjohn, who worked on getting the film restored for Blu-ray release identifies this as the back of a house on Craven Hill down from Paddington station, now converted into apartments. 9 Craven Hill W2. Following the death of their daughter, Julia Lofting (Mia Farrow) runs from the hospital where she has been recovering from shock. The Cruciform Building of the University College, London on Gower Street WC1.

Peter notes that the exterior of the hospital has been restored to its original state.

Julia darts between traffic as she hails a taxi. Peter located Gower Street with UCL's Cruciform Building to the right.

And Peter also provides the proof.

The cab pulls away with the disturbed woman on board. Facing south on Gower Street towards the junction with University Street in WC1.

Leaving her husband Magnus, Julia sets up home in another part of town. Holland Park, Kensington W11.

The trouble with Holland Park is that there are three streets all identical architecturally but arboreal salvation is at hand. No mistaking that tree shape. SJ

The Estate Agent (Nigel Havers) accompanies Julia to her new house.

We are looking at 3 Holland Park, next to 4, on the south side of the southern branch of Holland Park. SJ

Julia says goodbye to Magnus' sister Lily (Jill Bennett) after meeting her for tea. Lord Holland's Statue in Holland Park, Kensington, W8.

Strolling alone with her thoughts, Julia comes across a school where children are leaving for the day.

After imagining that she sees Katie amongst the pupils, Julia walks away.

Whilst antique dealer Mark Berkeley is delivering a mirror,Julia glances through the window to see children playing.

After Lily holds a seance in Julia's house, Mark drives the participants home. Simon Fitzjohn who has worked extensively with the film provides the Brady Street Dwellings E1 as the location for the tenement buildings. (SR)

Rosa Flood (Anna Wing) is walked to her door by Julia. Unfortunately Simon reports that the Brady Street Dwellings were demolished in the 1970s. (SR)

Magnus (Keir Dullea) arrives at Mark's shop and finds the dealer unloading his van. Westbourne Grove, W11, outside number 223. (SR)

An unfortunate piece of timing in an attempt to support Steve's finding. No223 is now painted black, while 221 is being refurbished. The former's smaller column and gates are relatively recent. SJ

After having words with Mark, Magnus calls on Julia. Holland Park in Kensington W11.

Not a lot of changes. SJ

When his wife is either out or doesn't answer, Magnus tries the rear of the house.

On the way back from Mrs Flood's, Julia gets out of Marks Land Rover when he stops at a junction. SJ recognised Bedford Square in WC1, which also features in 'Their Finest', 'Wildcats of St. Trinian's', 'Don’t Bother to Knock', 'Follow Me!', 'Half Moon Street', and 'Accident'.

Julia heads to The British Museum to research the strange events that have been occurring in the house. Great Russell Street in WC1. After finding out about Geoffrey, a young boy, Julia approaches the home of his mother, Greta Braden. Descending Mounts Pond Road from Granville Park, Blackheath, SE13. (SR)

As she returns to her car, Julia sees Miss Pinner board a bus and asks questions about what she experienced in the seance. The junction of Bloomsbury Way and Barter Street, WC1. (SR)

Looking south-east down Barter Street with Swedenborg Hall in the centre. That red flash to the left is a bus but I was too hasty to embrace a matching appearance. SJ

Next, Julia next visits Mr Swift, an alcoholic implicated in the murder of Geoffrey. Hardinge Street E1 located by Christopher Matheson. Coburg Dwellings also appear in 'Burnt Evidence' while other views of the street can be seen in 'The Stateless Man' and 'River Beat'. (RL)

That night, Julia returns home where eerie happenings occur after she retires to bed. Holland Park in W11.

I forgot this shot back in 2015 and so finally amend. No3 has also appeared in 'The Mine and the Minotaur' and 'Plenty.' SJ

Julia visits Mrs. Rudge in a psychiatric home where the old woman confesses that she had killed Olivia, the young girl who murdered Geoffrey.
