Farrell outside Pentonville, London N7

Taken on the very day of filming in June 2009. Note the shadows. Is that Farrell in blue jeans on the corner? SJ

Chaplin waiting for him opposite the prison outside Doyles Tavern, 359 Pentonville Road, on the corner of The Ladykillers' Frederica Street.

Also taken the very same day. SJ

And off they go, with Wheelwright Street in view.

Not much change here remarks Peter.

Farrell's place: now I know this one. I'll give you all a few days to solve it before taking and loading the now. A little challenge.

Too late. Corner of Mountford Place and Kennington Road, SE11. SJ

Farrell on the north side of an oft seen bridge (Blue Lamp, Withnail & I) in Bramley Road.

Here's one I did earlier hence slightly off angle. SJ

Big clue here!

Corner of Clapham Road and Harleyford Road, SE11. SJ

Mean London street.

Hanover Arms, 326 Kennington Park Road, SE11 4PP. Greg Mishevski ... i.e. just before it becomes Clapham Road. This is just west of the Oval station. SJ

The south bank.

I think that's the old Hungerford Bridge in the original capture so this is the new look. SJ

<?php echo 9; ?>

A treacherous place to bed down for the night. Southwark Bridge underpass completed in 1997. The panels on the right are engraved with an historic map of Southwark. (SR)

It looks smarter in daylight. SJ

A night view of lobo004

362 Kennington Road. SJ

Farrell in Addison Road, W14

Now. SJ

Serlby Court, very handy sign.

Now, opposite the above. SJ

Paparazzi on the roof of Serlby Court, Addison Road, W14, keeping a lens ready for Knightley. SJ

Had to make do with shot as the original came from a private side garden. SJ

A mews supposedly at the back of Addison Road.

In reality the mews is not at the back of Addison Road, not in W14 but in the W2 postcode area. The mews is called Botts Mews, W2 5AG. The gates are props. Botts Mews is located off Chepstow Road. Greg Mishevski. And, naturally, he's right again. SJ

Farrell trades abuse with white van man.

Now, with the Prince of Wales pub (It Happened Here) just out of sight to the right. SJ

Another rising shot just for good measure. Looks like Pottery Lane, W11.

And, as above, is indeed Pottery Lane, SJ

There's a couple of blocks like these I've noticed when watching cricket at the Oval. One on Lawn Lane and another on Meadow Road.

Sirinham Point on Meadow Road, SW8. SJ

Chaplin and Farrell: reverse pov of above. Meadow Road I reckon, London SW8.

Now. SJ

Knightley on Holland Park Avenue opposite Clarendon Raod, W11

Now, and the correct angle at last. SJ

Farrell back at lobo004 and 010.

There was a sign just out of shot which would have made the location easier to spot. SJ

A high up cemetery. Greenwich SE9? Actors in shot in the distance... Camberwell New Cemetery, SE23 3RD. Greg Mishevski

Greg is correct. It's quite a view from here. And look the gravestones were all real. SJ

As above but that's Canary Wharf on the horizon...Camberwell New Cemetery, SE23 3RD. Greg Mishevski

And again. SJ

Here's a clue locationers thrive on. Back to the mews. Does that say St Georges Mews, W11 reflected in the bonnet? I don't think it's NW1 or else it would be the Primrose HIll one in most A-Zs.

There are 5 mews in W14 postcode area (Addison Road) and at the same time in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The 3 of those mews are close to Addison Road, but none of the 5 mews is the mews used in the film. I don't see any "St. George's Mews, W11" sign. The sign says probably "George Mews, W11". There are only two "George Mews" in London postcode area. The 1st mews is in NW1 and the 2nd mews is in SW9 and neither of these 2 mews is the mews used in the film. So, both the location of the mews and the sign are fake. In reality the mews is not at the back of Addison Road, neither in W14 and W11 postcode area, but in W2 postcode area and is not called "George Mews". The mews is called Botts Mews, W2 5AG. Botts Mews is located off Chepstow Road. Greg Mishevski. And this is the now. SJ

And this is the exit, 23 bus would suggest Ladbroke Grove area a possibility.

In Fusion, 1-3 Chepstow Road, W2 5BL. The 23 bus is also a prop, because there is no bus route 23 in Chepstow Road. Greg Mishevski. Now. SJ

Farrell and Knightley arrive at Hammerwood Park, East Grinstead, Sussex, also seen in Knife Edge, and once owned by Led Zeppelin.

Winstone threatens Marsan on the South Bank, SE1.

Spot the 'Gherkin' in this shot from Peter.

More south of the river action.

An estate, probably south London. Actors in distance.

Not south, but east London. Left: Kinsham House, Ramsey Street, E2 6HS. Right: Westhope House, Derbyshire Street, E2 6HL. This is taken from Weavers Fields, next to Derbyshire Street opposite Hague Street corner. Looking southwest towards Broadgate Tower. Greg Mishevski. Greg sleuths, SJ confirms.

A sarf London caff

Left, The Beehive, 21 Bartholomew Street, SE1 4AL. Middle, Bartholomew Food & Wine, 23 Bartholomew Street, SE1 4AL. Right, The Anatolian Cafe, 25 Bartholomew Street, SE1 4AL. Greg Mishevski. This is very close to the Bricklayer's Arms roundabout and New Kent Road. SJ

Same place.

Left, P. Patel, 27 Bartholomew Street, SE1 4AL. Right, PFC, 29 Bartholomew Street, SE1 4AL. Greg Mishevski. Looks like Patel's gone out of business. SJ

Hollywood, LA, USA. Reporters gather at the Chateau Marmont, Sunset Boulevard where there are numerous stories including Led Zeppelin, yes them again, riding their bikes through the lobby.

Those look like Dulwich, SE21, railings to me.

Yes, Dulwich, SE21 it is. 9 Dulwich Village, SE21 7BU. Greg Mishevski. Thanks, Greg, now by SJ

And the pan round as Farrell pays a visit to Winstone's gaff.

The house is called Fairfield, 9 Dulwich Village, SE21 7BU. Fairfield is a large 1920's house located next door to Dulwich Village Infants' School. Greg Mishevski. Even the gates (out of shot) are the same. SJ

That mews again.

The mews is called Botts Mews, W2 5AG. This is a reverse shot of lobo014. The gates are props. Greg Mishevski. And here's the proof. SJ
