Blackpool promenade. The Lancashire resort also features in 'Holidays with Pay', 'Hindle Wakes' from1952, ‘Forbidden’, ‘Dick Barton Strikes Back’, 'A Taste of Honey', 'The Parole Officer', ‘Love on the Dole’ and 'Sing As We Go'.

This section of the promenade had been rebuilt by the time Antony Blair arrived.

Another bit of Liverpool.

Looking from Mann Island Liverpool Pier Head towards the old White Star Shipping Line building.Bulletins were read out from the balcony during the Titanic disaster.I believe the building design is similar to the old Scotland Yard in London.The bridge crossing the road is part of the Liverpool Overhead Railway.
