Following on from the previous image, Neil Rigby adds that one can make out the since demolished Elstree Moat House to the right which also appears in 'Night Comes Too Soon', 'Intimate Games', 'Digby, the Biggest Dog in the World', 'Tomorrow at Ten' and ‘Hysteria'.

Denis provides us with a further comparative shot, adding Ihat he didn't quite get the angle right here. On the extreme right can be seen the roof of the Holiday Inn, which in 1989 replaced the Elstree Moat House as seen in the film capture. The old Elstree Moat House / The Thatched Barn had quite a history; as well as being seen in episodes of 'The Saint' and 'The Prisoner'. It's WW2 designation was Station XV of the Special Operations Executive (SOE) and served as their equivalent to 'Q' Branch in James Bond films. On the slip road at the junction of the A41 (Edgware Way) with the M1. Tom Howe confirms the location and the fact that it is now almost impossible to capture a "now' from that spot and would no doubt encourage a policeman to stop once again. (RL)
