Storyline:
The world is delighted when a space craft containing a crew made up of the world’s astronauts lands on the moon, they think for the first time. But the delight turns to shock when the astronauts discover an old British flag and a document declaring that the moon is taken for Queen Victoria proving that the astronauts were not the first men on the moon.

The UN team arrive at Dymchurch Registry Office. The building is the Old Town Hall next to The Crown Hotel on London Street, Chertsey. The Town Hall also features in 'The Story of Shirley Yorke' and 'Trent's Last Case'.

Cavor runs home to complete his work. Redhill Road, Cobham in Surrey, discovered by Neil Rigby. Stephen Tucker tells us that the exterior shots of the house in which the experiments with Cavorite are being carried out and which is eventually seen blowing up when the furnace overheats, were filmed in the grounds of the house on Redhill Road which was called Foxholm. Stephen adds that he used to visit the house when he was a boy to stay with his Aunt, Beatrice Tull, who was the housekeeper to the family who owned the house. "Beatrice played a minor role in production, though she was not credited, as she looked after the geese and was required to hide behind parts of the set to control their movements in the greenhouse."
Neil also provides this third party proof. The house, Neil Rigby discovered, stands on Redhill Road in Cobham.
