Barry Fantoni tells us that he “played Charlie Small in ‘The Strange Affair’. “All my scenes with Michael York were shot around the Hammersmith flyover and the developing area. My death scene was shot in a temporary second hand car lot and dump. The chase was shot in flats close by, as was the pub sequence and driving the American car – which was like flying an airplane. I had a camera stuck to one side and the rest of the huge car on the other. I can’t recall the name of the streets and the flats should still be there, but all the other locations have been redeveloped. I remember we never moved much in the week it took.”

If you have any information regarding this production, the locations or, even better, some comparison shots please contact us. Images submitted must be in Landscape orientation, as would be seen on the cinema screen, not Portrait.
We are aware that there are films on the site that were added when the criteria for the inclusion of locations was very different from today and, as a result, there may be scenes missing from some productions. Please do not forward additional screen captures to us but bring the detail to our attention, for we do, and are, 're-addressing' these older entries as time allows.
