Harry Jones (Not sure if this is Edward Judd or a double) takes a taxi on Fleet Street. A similar view was seen in ‘Front Page Story’, ‘Sea Wife', 'Who Done It?' and 'Old Bill and Son'.

A more modern taxi. Steve Cook found the location. It's St Johns Wood Terrace, London NW8 at the junction with Charlbert Street. The Star public house stands on the far corner and the shot was taken from the steps of a former chapel that saw various uses including as a television studio.

The Star is still there, just obscured by energetic foliage. SJ

The Dorchester Hotel at the junction of Park Lane with Deanery Street in London W1. The building also appears in 'The Optimists of Nine Elms', 'Cloak Without Dagger', 'Expresso Bongo', 'Glad Tidings', 'Easy Money', 'This Happy Breed', 'Carry On Regardless', 'It's Not Cricket' and 'The Iron Maiden' among other productions.
