Reverse pov: looks like central London... As above looking south down Park Street, found with thanks and google evidence by David who adds that coincidentally Anna Neagle was living in Aldford House south of this block at the time of filming. (SJ)

Neagle enters. Brixton Prison on Jebb Avenue, a location that can be seen in The location can be seen in 'The Last Man to Hang', 'Quartet', 'Two Letter Alibi' and 'Take My Life'.
From ground level as steps may have caused a little consternation with the warders. SJ
