If you have any information regarding this production, the locations or, even better, some comparison shots please contact us. Images submitted must be in Landscape orientation, as would be seen on the cinema screen, not Portrait.
We are aware that there are films on the site that were added when the criteria for the inclusion of locations was very different from today and, as a result, there may be scenes missing from some productions. Please do not forward additional screen captures to us but bring the detail to our attention, for we do, and are, 're-addressing' these older entries as time allows.

An establishing shot of the house where Henry Clavering lives with his daughter and his second wife. Oakley Court on Windsor Road, Oakley Green near Windsor, Berkshire.

Now a hotel, hence the umbrellas on the terrace. SJ

After faking his death, the cortege carrying Henry Clavering leaves the house.

The greenhouse, which decayed in the next 40 years, has yielded to a car park. SJ

Joan Clavering (Hazel Penwarden) returns home. Oakley Court also features in 'Nightmare', 'What the Butler Saw', 'The House in Nightmare Park', 'The Mutations', 'Half a Sixpence' and 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show'.

Posh pots have replaced the ivy. SJ

Disguised as Hodson, Henry Clavering (Sid James) watches as Victor Harrington (Anthony Forwood) speaks with his daughter Joan.

The boathouse by the Thames still stands (or has been impressively reproduced). SJ

A silhouette of the gateway to Oakley Court on the A308, Windsor Road.

I'm fairly sure the gates have moved to the east away from the original lodge (just visible in What the Butler Saw), but the wrought iron looks identical as do the pillars. SJ
