Storyline:

A scheduling error means that two groups of old-timers have reserved the same bar for a party on New Year’s Eve. The situation is made trickier as one group are Protestant die-hards whilst the other consists of Catholics hard-liners.

The drive continues to the very fringe of civilisation. Jim Hart believes that this is a view of long demolished flats on the former Cantril Farm Estate in Liverpool, since redeveloped as Stockbridge Village,

The new manager arrives at the seedy nightclub which, he later finds out, is owned by local criminals. Neil Rigby read on a blog somewhere that this building was a mock up but Peter Draper has identified the premises as those of Glazebrook Country Club on Bank Street in Glazebrook near Warrington in Cheshire.

Whilst Mike tries to raise someone inside the club, the film moves over to a nearby housing estate. Jim Hart advises that the since demolished flats were known as the 'Oxo' blocks and stood on Haswell Drive in Liverpool L28.

The camera pans to the subway where a couple of kids are waiting to rob blind man Paddy Burke. Neil Rigby says that in the film this underpass is near the 'Oxo' cube flats on Haswell Drive as identified by Jim Hart. He believes that it has not been filled in. (RL)

As the kids find out that their prey is a retired boxer and end up being badly beaten, Billy McCracken drives Norman to his 'safe house' in the Sefton Grange home for the elderly. A once unidentified location that has additionally been lost to demolition that commenced in 1997 but that did not stop Neil Rigby finding the Chalkhill Estate in Wembley. More specifically, here we see Cofers Circle with the footbridge connection between the multi-storey car park, out of shot on the right, and Bluebird Walk, Greenrigg Walk and Redcliffe Walk to the left.

An unidentified location . . . but this style of residential block suggests London County Council. Definitely London, Neil Rigby says, specifically Woolmer House, Upper Clapton Road, London E5 8SU.
