Duke arrives at his ex Girlfriend's apartment block. The Convent of the Sacred Heart on East 91st Street seen from 5th Avenue, New York. The building was also seen in 'Night at the Museum' and 'Nine to Five'.

The Convent of the Sacred Heart appears to be having a facelift.

After planning the robbery, Duke goes in search of The Kid. Whilst scouring the internet, Steve Randall came across NYC in Film's web site which details several locations that we couldn't find. The electrical supply shop is identified as 332 Canal Street, New York 10013.

332 Canal St is now a shoe shop.

A surveillance crew watches as Duke heads to meet Spencer. NYC in Film explain that the mocked-up Black Panther Party office stands at 64 East 4th Street in New York.

Taken from ground level. The front of the building looks completely different but number 62 on the right is unchanged apart from the colour, the curved standpipe is still there too.

Loaded with coffee and cakes, Duke heads from a bakery to join Pat. Sullivan Street near the junction with West Houston Street in Manhattan.

Now a café in what appears to be an amalgamation of numbers 150 and 152 Sullivan Street. Above the doorway to the left of the café it reads 150, however, 152 and the business to the left of that is also numbered 150, but the café matches with the trim on the left pillar of door frame and the moulding of the window ledge. So it's now 150 Sullivan Street Café but 152 on the window of the original bakery. There isn't a business at number 152 any more which doesn't make sense!

A Mayflower removal truck is taken by the gang. Between West 18th and West 17th Streets in New York 10011. In the background is the 'High Line' or West Side Line, formerly an elevated freight railway and now a linear park.

The screen capture shows yellow pillars with a circular decoration about a third of the way up. The front of the building has been renovated but those motifs are still there.

The Antique shop on the left is still an antique shop and the fire hydrant is still there, but it was all covered with scaffolding, so this is taken a couple of steps past the shop.

Taken a bit too close but the view that matched the capture was obliterated by trees. The building with the stepped roof on the right is a match.

The city centre is negotiated. Times Square, looking north west along West 46th Street from Broadway. Times Square can be seen in numerous productions including 'A King in New York', ‘The File of the Golden Goose’, ‘The Man Without a Body’ and ‘How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying’.
With so much advertising now it is difficult to know what might be original behind. (RL)
