If you have any information regarding this production, the locations or, even better, some comparison shots please contact us. Images submitted must be in Landscape orientation, as would be seen on the cinema screen, not Portrait.

We are aware that there are films on the site that were added when the criteria for the inclusion of locations was very different from today and, as a result, there may be scenes missing from some productions. Please do not forward additional screen captures to us but bring the detail to our attention, for we do, and are, 're-addressing' these older entries as time allows.

After a pan across north Manhattan for the twin-towered Majestic building opposite, the camera settles on the Dakota building on the corner of west 72nd and Central Park West.

Here's one from street level. SJ

Cassavetes and Farrow meets the caretaker Cook at the south entrance of the Dakota apartments. The block was also seen in House of Strangers and Vanilla Sky.

But probably more famously this is where John Lennon was shot on 8/12/80.

Farrow waiting in vain for Evans. Radio City, 1260 Avenue of the Americas (6th Ave), on the corner of 50th Ave, in the background. Nice serpentine paving reproducing Rio's Copacabana Beach.

Farrow at the cemetery to send off Evans. This could be in LA.

Seeing off Gordon and Blackmer much to Farrow's relief. Back outside the Dakota.

Note the guard booth still there. SJ

Farrow leaves Bellamy's office on Fifth Avenue at 62nd Street.

A seasonal variation. (RL)

Just across 62nd Street on Fifth Avenue where Farrow calls Grodin for help. This was the first scene shot for the film. And the producer William Castle makes an appearance as a man smoking a cigar waiting for Farrow to finish.

John and Gemma Wood found some new building here. (SJ)

Farrow at Grodin's surgery. 650 Park Avenue.

John and Gemma Wood found some scaffolding, as is so often the case with RS. (SJ)
