And this is their house. The Croft on Bridge Street near Nettlefold studios in Walton-on-Thames identified by Richard Lovejoy. The building also appears in 'Glad Tidings', 'Madame Louise', 'Morning Call', 'The Naked Truth', 'Old Mother Riley Headmistress', 'Operation Diplomat' and 'Trouble with Eve'.

The house was called The Croft and was owned by Nettlefold Studios. It stood to the right of Dr Harz's house in 'The Naked Truth'. SD

She turns a corner, pursued by Bogarde, to her car parked in front of St Mary's Church, Battersea Church Road, SW11. 'Alfie' also used the area as a location and the church can be seen in 'For Them That Trespass', 'Melody', 'Food for a Blush' and 'The Sleeping Tiger'.

Leaving Woolworth's, Bogarde emerges with some spectacles as a cunning disguise: well that narrows it down. Peter adds "This may be Woolworths at 105-109 Strand in WC2 if my memory serves me right" while Mary French suggests that it could be the Walton-on-Thames branch as it would have been close to capture 2. And now, Anthony Spencer proposes 311 Oxford Street W1, a larger branch and likely due to the location of the following capture.

Bogarde and Smith turn off Fulham Road into Wandon Road, SW6. The Walsingham Mansions were identified by Tavistock on the Britmovies forum.

Peter found the flats demolished and replaced by Chelsea apartments next to Walsingham Mansions.

Down Wandon Street looking south now to King's Road. The Jam Tree, then the Nell Gwynne, still stands on King's Road. To the left where there is a crash has now been redeveloped.

A new development on the left but the pub in the King's Road is still the same except for the name change. "I have been traversing Wandon Street on the way to Chelsea Football Club for sixty years and only knew it as 'The Short Cut'". Picture and information from Peter.
