Casey Morrow (Dane Clark) leaves Maggie Doone's apartment where he awoke after a nights drinking. Blantyre Street in London SW10. The street was also used as a location for 'Man of Violence' and 'Otley'.

Suffering from a hangover, the American crosses the road and heads towards the river. The crossing on Cremorne Road survives but the background buildings have been replaced by the Worlds End Estate.

When I walked past The Mitre earlier this year I said to myself "that's a film location!" but it has taken Ron and Ray Glenister to come up with the connection.
