In the early morning half-light, Malcolm (Colin Friels) drives out of the tram depot on a tram he has built himself from scavenged parts. This view is from the former South Melbourne tram depot at Dorcas Street.

For their next, larger bank job, Frank has bought a van -- which breaks down on the way home.

They stop outside the bank to deliver the specially adapted ashtrays that are part of their plan.

Later, having changed the appearance of the van, they slip unnoticed out of the far end of the alley as police run past them.

An extra capture that properly should come immediately after capture 34. After colliding with the newspaper stand, the van enters a narrow alley. Tom Smith recognised the Repco warehouse in Berkeley Street, Carlton. The alley runs between Berkeley Street and Barry Street.
