Outside the reception, the misogynistic Lord and his friend exchange cars before driving away to find Lady Datchet. Brian Martin identifies this as Compton Wynyates House in Warwickshire.

After receiving Lord Datchett's invitation to stay, French film star Colette Marly is driven to the country seat. Compton Wynyates located by Brian Martin. The property stands about 12 miles south-east of Stratford-upon-Avon and also makes an appearance in 'Black Tent' as well as 'Carry On Camping'.
