Can you help:
If you have any information regarding this production, the locations or, even better, some comparison shots please contact us. Images submitted must be in Landscape orientation, as would be seen on the cinema screen, not Portrait.
We are aware that there are films on the site that were added when the criteria for the inclusion of locations was very different from today and, as a result, there may be scenes missing from some productions. Please do not forward additional screen captures to us but bring the detail to our attention, for we do, and are, 're-addressing' these older entries as time allows.

Mary Clarke (Lisa Daniely) a member of the “Save Mornley Beauty Spots” Committee walks through the roads that reveal the changes and modernization that is taking place in Mornley as a result of Council decisions. Dave W found Pinner Road, Watford Heath in Hertfordshire.

Additional shot to perhaps help with identifying the location. It helped Dave find Pinner Road in Watford Heath.

This Google Earth View from Dave shows that a lawn was eventually laid.

As a result of Dave finding the previous capture's location, it became evident that this was not all filmed on the same new estate. The Danziger's must have uncharacteristically thrown the budget to the wind. Dave found this to be The Four Tubs, Bushey Heath, Hertfordshire, with some updating.

Wood and hung tiles have given way to plastic, oh, and new windows according to Google Earth View.

Dave also found this one, Water Lane, Watford in Hertfordshire.

Dave provided this Google Earth View showing that some of the essential elements remain.

Dave hasn't found this one! But Howard Key has, it is Foxleys in Carpenders Park, Oxhey, Hertfordshire looking NW towards The Mead.

Howard provides this Google Earth View in support, the view should be from just a little further back but unfortunately the Google camera appears to have missed out that part of the road.

The block of flats where Mary lives. Peter Brown was very quickly on the case and identifies it as 183 Deacon's Hill Road, Elstree.

Identifying the building as Hollywood Court, Antony Blair replaces an earlier Google image.

Mary Clarke is entertained to lunch by Jack Norton (Francis Matthews) chairman of the council, assuming to be just an “interested party”, but with a view to finding out more about the proposed public protest concerning the removal of the last gas lamp.148-150 Shenley Road, Borehamwood.
Still purveying food and drink at that address.

Having been exposed to Mary as “Mr Norton” Jack goes to see fellow committee member “Jarvis” at his electrical company offices. Danziger Studios in Elstree, maybe? Yes indeed, with thanks to Dave W for pointing me in the direction of my own book shelves. (RL)

Campaigning “for” and “against” the retention of the gas lamp starts. Howard also finds this for us, Escourt Road and Gartlett Road, Watford, Hertfordshire with, the building on the left being The Escourt Tavern.

Once again Howard provides a Google Earth View to support his identification.
