Can you help:

If you have any information regarding this production, the locations or, even better, some comparison shots please contact us. Images submitted must be in Landscape orientation, as would be seen on the cinema screen, not Portrait.

We are aware that there are films on the site that were added when the criteria for the inclusion of locations was very different from today and, as a result, there may be scenes missing from some productions. Please do not forward additional screen captures to us but bring the detail to our attention, for we do, and are, 're-addressing' these older entries as time allows.

Bledel makes her way by mule to her grandparents.

Oia, Santorini looking east. Already a few details changed but the curly steps help. SJ

  • 'Now' required

More making of way through the alleys of Oia.

Now I'm not sure what's going on with the continuity as this is a reverse pov of 001.

Looking west from the same spot as 001n. Thirasia island, the only other inhabited island of six in the archipelago, is in the background. SJ

And here is the grandparents' house with the curved roof in Oia.

This is situated at the top of the steps which run from the harbour of Ammoudi/Amoudi. SJ

Bledel is provided with a warm and large welcome.

A good place to see the famous Oia sunsets but one may have to lean over the balcony. SJ

A shot of Oia's southside.

Sometimes it's hard to see the wood for the trees but the blue-topped church dome helps. SJ

Bledel sketches by the waterside at Amoudi harbour.

The jetty seems to have collapsed a little. SJ

Reverse pov of Bledel sketching.

Changes to the building on the right. SJ

After an unexpected dip into the Aegean, Rady rescues her.

The port of Amoudi with few changes. SJ

  • 'Now' required

This could be Fira/Thira, the capital of Santorini, as Bledel collects the magic pair of jeans.

Another shot of the grandparents' house taken from the Castle Oia area.

The house has changed colour. SJ

Back on the jetty of Amoudi.

A good shot of some of the sister isles of Santorini, Nea Kameni, Palaia Kameni, Aspronisi and the two cliffs on the right belong to Therasia. To the left is the cliff path seen in the sequel. SJ

  • 'Now' required

Bledel finds out that Rady is from the wrong family in a touch of Montague and Capulet syndrome. Possibly at the harbour.

  • 'Now' required

Unsure but continuity suggests it follows on from the previous shot

Overlooking grandparents' house.

Now with a very blue sea. SJ

The isle of Saint Nicholas below Oia.

Taken in early evening. The water is about 1000 feet deep in front of the church of Agios Nicolas. SJ

A good place for contemplation, though it's popular for tombstoning which is slightly noisier.

Taken from further away at sea. SJ

Bledel is facing Santorini and that's the south end on the left then Nea Kameni and Palaia (also Palea) Kameni.

Short of attempting a swim with a camera, here's a shot from the cliffs of Oia. Agios Nicolas was also seen in Santorini Blue. SJ

Rady teaches Bledel to ride a scooter.

Oia Main Square, also known as Nicolaou Nomikou Square, in front of the Greek Orthodox Church Panagia of Platsiani. In reality mopeds are excluded in summer time. SJ

Rady and Bledel above Amoudi.

One of two windmills in this area. SJ

Looking after the house and terrace work while the post arrives by mule.

Door firmly closed. SJ

Just outside the front door.

The top of the steps leading down to the harbour.

On the road down to Ormos Athinois the main harbour.

This is south of Fira/Thira. SJ

And round the corner she goes bringing the ferry port into view.

This is the ferry port for foot passengers. Not to be confused with Skala which handles the cruise ship passengers who have to be boated in. SJ

Bledel wishes to see off Rady before he departs for study.

Still the same. SJ

It's not so much a ticket hall just a sun-shelter.

Numbers have moved and little offices have appeared: as busy as ever. SJ

Bledel says her own goodbyes to return to the US, or rather British Columbia standing in for the US but that's another story.

Pretty deserted and tourist-free shot. SJ
