A day dreaming schoolboy is sent out of class for not paying attention during a lesson on electricity, but on the tube journey home everyone is suddenly turned yellow.

On a school visit to the Tower of London, John Saunders (Mark Dightam) gets his pet mouse Alice out of her box as he walks with his friend Munro (Lem Dobbs). Tower Green within the Tower of London EC3.
Peter found that the cannons have been relocated.

John hands Munro the mouse's box when he realises that Alice has escaped. The south-east corner of the Inner Ward with the White Tower visible in the right distance. Various parts of the Tower are seen in 'No Place for Jennifer', 'The Jokers' and 'Two Weeks in September'.

Munro looks back for John as the Teacher (Laurence Carter) counts his pupils as they leave the Tower. Through the archway leading to Tower Wharf stands Tower Bridge.

Back at school, John is sent home after falling asleep in class.

The youngster enters the platform at Chalk Farm station to catch the train home. The disused Aldwych branch platform at Holborn station in London WC2, also seen in 'Tube Tales', 'The Last Train', 'The Gentle Gunman' and 'Piccadilly Third Stop'.

Whilst in Hampstead Peter sped to the same location only to find street clutter has accumulated. (RL)

Apologising to the Delivery Boy, John continues to run. Willow Road NW3, between Gayton Road and Gayton Crescent. This section of road was also seen in 'The Monster of Highgate Ponds'.
Not running, Peter continued the same path witnessing that there were new windows to the property on the left. (RL)

That night, John meets a strange electronic being named Nic (Robert Eddison) and the two return, via electricity, to the Tower of London to find Alice.

A Drummer leads the way, followed by a Priest and two Beefeaters guarding John. In the background stands the curtain wall that runs between the Salt Tower and the Lanthorne Tower.
Peter took this comparison whilst enjoying a day in the Tower of London, which he found to be better value than some of the Capital's other attractions.

The small procession nears the scaffold. The White Tower seen from the south-east of the Inner Ward.

Whilst it would appear that the canon has been changed, the most significant change is the White Tower access now provided via that wooden staircase. (RL)
