At the controls of Tiger after rescuing Parker, Alan and Tin Tin from the doomed Skyship One, Lady Penelope heads towards the fictitious M104 motorway. Cressex Road crosses the M40 motorway with Clay Lane Farm top left and Booker Hospital on the right.

With Alan, Brains and Tin Tin and the White Ghost's agents all holding onto the wings, Lady Penelope flies beneath one of the newly completed motorway's bridges. The bridge is between junctions 3 and 5 of the M40 motorway at Lane End near High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire.

Another bridge that could be a model built to complete the sequence after the Ministry of Transport withdrew permission for further stunt work. Bridges along the M40 have since been reconstructed due to road widening. Rob Beckwith advises that according to a documentary that he has, filming was done from a car. (RL)

Parker gets covered in soot as the plane is flown through smoke billowing from a chimney. The plane is G-ANFM, a 1941 registered De Havilland Tiger Moth II but the chimney's location is currently unknown. Rob Beckwith advises that from a documentary he has the pilot was Joan Hughes. (RL)
