The Postman delivers to Commonwealth Pictures where former film editor Reggie Wilson is now an executive producer and married to the boss's daughter. Gordon Thomson believes that this may be Nettlefold Studios in Walton-on-Thames which is confirmed by PW.

When he starts receiving letters from an unknown woman, Reggie and his wife Lesley drive to Newcastle to investigate their origin. The junction of St. Barnabas Street, Ranelagh Grove and Bloomfield Terrace in London SW1 with The Ranelagh public house to the right.
The pub has long gone - was it also known as the General Havelock at some point? - but there was quite an exclusive restaurant through the added white columned entrance at one time. SJ

Basehart is working around the car past no 33 and heading towards no30. I shall never forget meeting Claire Bloom years ago at a party at no32. SJ

Reggie follows Lesley from the building after the two encounter Miss Stewart, but she and the car have gone. Looking along Bloomfield Terrace towards St. Barnabas' Church on St. Barnabas Street in Pimlico.
