If you have any information regarding this production, the locations or, even better, some comparison shots please contact us. Images submitted must be in Landscape orientation, as would be seen on the cinema screen, not Portrait.
We are aware that there are films on the site that were added when the criteria for the inclusion of locations was very different from today and, as a result, there may be scenes missing from some productions. Please do not forward additional screen captures to us but bring the detail to our attention, for we do, and are, 're-addressing' these older entries as time allows.

The family home: Porthpean House, Porthpean Beach Road, south of St. Austell, Cornwall. This shot is taken from the beach. Private, though available for holiday let, this should be easy to "now" at low tide. Lionel and Cynthia believe that this could well be a matted shot for the house certainly cannot be seen from the beech. The alternative seems to be a long range shot from the Mevagissey/Fowey ferry they suggest.....we will no doubt see! (RL)

This will be harder as it's in the grounds of Porthpean House. Looking east towards Polkerris and Menabilly. Gleeson sunbathes with sister Wilson and attractive friend Robbie.

A little off angle but only our Lionel and Cynthia Sear could legitimately gain access to forbidden territory to capture this hurried "now" for us. (RL)

- 04 Jun 2019
On a family walk on the south west coastal path. Probably south of Porthpean looking towards the promontory guarding Charleston Harbour, oft-used in film.

Lionel and Cynthia provide us with the comparison shot and tell us that this is by the coastal path at Chapel Point immediately south of Portmellon and looking back towards Mevagissey. Mevagissey Harbour is behind at the far right. Out of shot to our right is Chapel Point House which featured in the Daphne Du Maurier novel 'The House on the Strand'. (RL)

On the coastal path enjoying an idyllic Cornish summer.

Lionel and Cynthia provide this "last for the time being" shot of the Mevagissey Coast Path at Chapel Point just south of Capture 3 and looking east. (RL)

And of course he uses the zebra crossing that the Beatles did for the "Abbey Road" cover.
Yes I know I should be facing south for the now but this is "The Beatles" direction looking north and a good effort at re-enactment by these tourists. SJ

Gleeson arrives at Hollander's spread at 59 Brondesbury Road, Queen’s Park, NW6, with thanks to Tony Reeves for this.

Not quite, Maida Vale, W9, an interior also seen in End of the Affair (1999) while its exterior appears in Man about the House, The Black Windmill and Paddington. SJ

Back to Cornwall for a stormy wedding in Portloe. Lionel and Cynthia have doubts about this location and are doing some research. (RL)
True to their word Lionel and Cynthia did their research and found that from the path above the harbour, looking west, the scene remains much the same. They also found that the foreground apex roof belongs to the public conveniences! (RL)

An interior. St Michael Penkivel/Penkevil Church, between Portloe and Truro.

Back to the coast and this is All Saints United Church, Portloe as Gleeson and McAdams brave the rain.

Where Nighy and Gleeson used to go for their special father-son chats on Vault beach, Gorran Haven. The continuity suggests that it is just below Porthpean House but it's several miles away to the west.

Lionel and Cynthia Sear ventured to uncharted territory, for them, to capture this shot of Vault Beach just to the west of Gorran Haven for us. (RL)
