Cars leave the cross channel ferry at Berth 13 in the port of Boulogne. Boulogne-sur-Mer in Pas-de-Calais, France. The port also appears in 'Mr. Nice' and 'A Day to Remember'.

A stream of vehicles climbs the spiral that takes them to the upper level at the busy port. Cross channel ferries finally ceased operating between England and Boulogne in 2004.

Once inside the hotel room, the single academic with no immediate family passes out . . . . to awaken the next morning wearing unfamiliar pyjamas and discovering that Jacques has disappeared.
