Can you help:
If you have any information regarding this production, the locations or, even better, some comparison shots please contact us. Images submitted must be in Landscape orientation, as would be seen on the cinema screen, not Portrait.
We are aware that there are films on the site that were added when the criteria for the inclusion of locations was very different from today and, as a result, there may be scenes missing from some productions. Please do not forward additional screen captures to us but bring the detail to our attention, for we do, and are, 're-addressing' these older entries as time allows.

As the credits appear to the sound of Cliff Richard and The Shadows singing the title track, a freight train speeds from the mouth of a tunnel. Manuel points out that the railway sequence was certainly not filmed in Spain as this steam engine, number 835.177, belonged to the Italian Ferrovie dello Stato.

Cliff and the gang sing in front of back projections interspersed with second unit shots of doubles standing in for the cast.

Persuaded to help Cliff and his pals into the US base, Emilia and her co-workers conceal them inside laundry baskets carrying the American's clean washing. Now, this does not look like a set.

The convoy of donkeys is led through the castle where the GIs are stationed. Those walls look real enough.

A Guard (Bill Mitchell) turns when he hears the regular delivery approach. A standing set at Pinewood Studios, identified on the Avengerland website.

The film progresses and we return to Italian Spain where . . . .

. . . . Cliff is taken by Emilia to meet her Grandmother. Ah, maybe this is actually closer to home.
- Capture 24

Colonel Roberts and Burke head for Emilia's Grandmother's house where the American bomb has been mistaken for a gas cylinder. This, however, does not look like Buckinghamshire.
- Capture 25

Emilia and Colonel Roberts watch as Burke loads the bomb into the back of the van. Very likely to be part of a set at Pinewood Studios.
