Douglas Baines (Lyndon Brook) leaves a toy shop where he has just bought a toy for his sons second birthday. 86 Wornington Road, London W10 now lost to re-development.

Having satisfied themselves with regard to the man's identity they start to cross the road towards him. The corner of St. Ervan's and Acklam Road in W10, a location that appears in 'Seventy Deadly Pills'.

As a deserter he starts to panic and walks to cross the road. 65 Acklam Road immediately behind him and the junction with Wornington Road all lost with the building of Westway.

He stops to observe events in a window reflection. Acklam Road and 1a St Ervan’s Road opposite.

More or less the same junction now.

Then starts to walk away whilst being watched by the men. St Ervan’s Road looking towards Acklam Road.

The consequence of redevelopment.

Douglas waits round a corner as the men start to follow. The end of St Ervan’s Road and the steps to the bridge that crossed the Hammersmith & City Line towards Tavistock Crescent.

Now, in the days of graffiti.

Having learned that his wife, Daisy (Jane Hilton), has had his son adopted he strangles her and leaves.…. What was No 5 Modena Street.

Having proposed marriage to Janet, Douglas collects her from an apartment block. Unknown location

He sees her off on the train. Marylebone Station, London NW1.

Greg Scott explains that platform 6 was originally platform 4 which was substantially cut back when land was sold for development.

Providing this view, Gregg Scott tells us that to take an accurate comparison would involve gaining permission from PNB Paribas whose premises now occupy the site.

Returning from the station he passes the end of the road where he lived with Daisy and where it all went wrong…….. Kensal Road, London W 10 with what was Southam Street off to the left and the Robin Hood & Little John public house on the corner facing. This was all demolished to make way for the estate surrounding Trellick Tower.
