Frank took this photo from the ferry that you can take for free from Amsterdam Central Station to NDSM Werf in Amsterdam North, he even managed to take the shot from the same spot as in the film. In the middle Havengebouw on De Ruiterkade 7 and on the left you see Droogbak, a 19th century building and it was build as the main building of Hollandse Ijzeren Spoorweg-Maatschapij (The Dutch railway company).
