We are aware that there are films on the site that were added when the criteria for the inclusion of locations was very different from today and, as a result, there may be scenes missing from some productions. From the safety of the footpath, Andrew Price captures this comparison.

The camera follows the Morris LD, followed by a Commer J4, into the forecourt of the Police Station. Station Hill in Cookham with the station in the right background.

Andrew points out that the trees mask a shopping parade and car park but the station footbridge has been demolished.

Since 1981 the former police station in Cookham has been a day centre named Elizabeth House.

A Butcher (Bartlett Mullins) looks up at the sky after opening up shop as a Greengrocer arranges his produce. This looks very much like a studio set.

After killing the Greengrocer and the Butcher, Trog continues to wander along the quiet roads.

The same location captured by Andrew.

A car drives through the village. Filling the background are the buildings of Moor Hall off School Lane in Cookham, Berkshire.

Andrew Price advises that in the background stands Moor Hall, the Conference Centre of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

The Driver brings his car to a halt as Trog appears in the road ahead. Facing School Lane with Cookham Moor out of view to the left.

Andrew's image suggests that Trog would have been thwarted by parked cars today!

Using his great strength, the primitive creature turns the car over. Looking into the road to Moor Hall from School Lane in Cookham.

Andrew Price wonders what Trog would have made of white van man.

Leaving the car in flames, Trog makes his way into a wooded area. Patrick Tisdale advises that this is Grenfell Park in Maidenhead, Berkshire with number 48 Grenfell Avenue in the background.

Antony Blair found that only one of the two trees has survived but the building remains in the background.

From the top of a rise, Trog looks down towards children playing in the park below. Grenfell Park in Maidenhead located by Patrick Tisdale. The park is easily recognised in 'Mumsy, Nanny, Sonny and Girly' made the same year.

52 years later, Antony Blair came across the same playground with more colourful equipment.
