If you have any information regarding this production, the locations or, even better, some comparison shots please contact us. Images submitted must be in Landscape orientation, as would be seen on the cinema screen, not Portrait.
We are aware that there are films on the site that were added when the criteria for the inclusion of locations was very different from today and, as a result, there may be scenes missing from some productions. Please do not forward additional screen captures to us but bring the detail to our attention, for we do, and are, 're-addressing' these older entries as time allows.
- Capture 1
- 'Now' required

Zooming into Duchovny who is on the roof on his latest building project on the corner of West Washington Boulevard and North Clinton Street alongside the Chicago French Market in the West Loop area of Chicago, Illinois.
- Capture 2
- 'Now' required

Richardson works at Lincoln Park Zoo, north of downtown next to Lake Michigan, looking after gorillas. The Helen Brach Primate House close to North Cannon Drive.
- Capture 3
- 'Now' required

The Lester E. Fisher Great Ape House, replaced by the Regenstein Center for African Apes in 2004. Kwan, the silverback gorilla seen in the film, resides here.
- Capture 4
- 'Now' required

Driver posts a letter thanking the family of her heart donor at the zoo in what's likely a prop post-box sited near the Lion House.
- Capture 5
- 'Now' required

Driver lives above "O'Reilly's" slightly west of the zoo. In reality this is Twin Anchors Restaurant on the corner of North Sedgwick Street and West Eugenie Street. The building on the left is fake and blocks off W. Eugenie Street.
- Capture 6
- 15 Feb 2023

Duchovny and Driver enjoy their date at the Buckingham Fountain, Grant Park. Looking west from South Lakeshore Drive.

Paul Swailes found that the Buckingham Fountain has been switched off for the winter.
- Capture 7
- 19 Nov 2018

Driver attempts some art but pours her heart out to a local waiter. To the right is caught one of the towers of the Trinità dei Monti so this must be the terrace of the Hassler Roma hotel.

A shot from the Spanish Steps showing the tower and the top of the Hassler. SJ
- Capture 8
- 19 Nov 2018

Driver sets up shop and lends her bicycle to the nuns at the Piazza della Rotonda in front of the Pantheon.

Slightly off-angle as I failed to notice the "nasoni" (big nose) drinking fountain in the original capture. SJ
- Capture 9
- 'Now' required

Duchovny searches Rome for Driver. Unlikely to be that far from the Pantheon... and indeed Steve Randall confirms 53 Piazza Della Maddelena, directly north of the Pantheon.
- Capture 10
- 19 Nov 2018

He joins the nun on the bicycle.

A rather crowded Piazza della Rotonda looking towards the Via del Seminario. SJ
- Capture 11
- 19 Nov 2018

It is a happy reunion.

Again, off centre. SJ
- Capture 12
- 'Now' required

Back at Lincoln Park zoo to open the new ape centre, built by Duchovny, in memory of Richardson. This may be at the rear of capture 3.
- Capture 13
- 'Now' required

A daylight shot of capture 5.
