Storyline:

Yvonne Phipps returns home alone and seemingly disturbs an intruder hiding in the bushes. Seeing her terrified by the ordeal, her husband Alan, a solicitor, teaches her how to use a gun in case the intruder returns. At the same time he formulates a plan to blackmail his wealthy and unfaithful wife to get revenge against her boyfriend, John Brodie, by setting him up to appear that he is the blackmailer and for Yvonne to kill him.

Yvonne’s husband, Alan visits Streatham Ice Rink, on Streatham High Road in SW16 to meet with John Brodie (Alex Scott), her ex-boyfriend. The arena closed on 18 December 2011, and was replaced by a mixed-use complex which opened on 18 November 2013, featuring a Tesco store and an Olympic-sized ice rink and swimming pool.

Upon leaving her hairdressers she is suddenly confronted…… Kings Shade Walk, Epsom in Surrey, looking out to the Clock Tower on High Street.

King Shade Walk has now been completely redeveloped. Shot taken from outside "Boots" where the walkway would have been.

They stop for John to post a blackmail letter to Yvonne. Peter Bywaters has established the location as the corner of Woodcote Park Road and Woodcote Side, Epsom in Surrey, opposite Loop Road.

Peter provides a shot of that same postbox, it all looks so different without snow.

Alan drives John back to his hotel. Geoff Dodd finds that the hotel still exists and without any real changes, externally anyway. The Gatwick Manor Hotel on London Road, Crawley in Sussex.

Geoff provides a Google Earth View to support, revealing that it is now a 'Premier Inn'.
