Set in Wyoming, all exteriors were shot west of Telluride, Colorado. Here Parks drives a stagecoach containing Russell and Leigh and halts to pick up Jackson. Probably a track off highway 145.

This is the set built for the film on the Schmid Ranch, 4553 60M Road at an altitude of 9,500 feet on the Wilson Mesa, 10 miles west of Telluride. Looking south towards Wilson Peak. The store is on the left, the stables in the centre and the loo rather a long winter's walk to the right.
