Mike Stoakes provides a drone shot courtesy of the Hotel Marad showing villa Oilvella located between viale Olivella and via Torincelli. He adds that the great Neapolitan actor Antonio De Curtis, alias Totò, spent some holidays in Torre del Greco at this villa as the guest of his friend the Count Paolo Gaetani dell'Aquila d'Aragona... Now there's a name! Noel Coward was also a guest. (SJ)

Given that access to the terrace may be tricky, here at least is shot of the view of Vesuvio from the Torre del Greco area, and the shape would suggest about right. SJ

Bergman, solo, starts to explore the history of Naples and she begins with the Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli, Piazza Museo, Napoli.
A good example of a "now" failure. Scaffolding, a regular thorn in the RS side, and the wrong angle. But at least it's the correct building. SJ

Could this be the same guide? No, Francesco Bruno was a young man then. Sadly Solfatara has been closed since October 2017 after a family of three strayed into a roped-off area and died.
