In the forest near the small village of Stetl, the schoolmaster is horrified as his wife Anna Müller (Domini Blythe) approaches Jenny Schilt (Jane Darby) before leading her to the castle of Count Mitterhaus. The only location, as advised on IMDB, is Black Park, Iver Heath in Buckinghamshire.

Fifteen years later Stetl is visited by a circus, led into the village by Michael the Dwarf (Skip Martin). The studio set, which can also be seen in 'Twins of Evil', where much of the remainder of the production is filmed.
