Sir Hubert Ware (Clive Brook) and Tommy Boyd (Edward Rigby) chat whilst driving. As is common with many movies, scenes with actors talking whilst driving are set against a back projection. Dave W says that Sir Hubert is pretending to drive west along Piccadilly, with some of the distinctive architecture of Devonshire House behind him. (RL)

The pair arrive outside a public house where Sir Hubert drops Tommy off. Facing the 'I am the Only Running Footman' public house at the corner of Hay's Mews and Charles Street in Mayfair. Also seen in 'Escape Route', the pub was rebuilt in the 1930s and became known by a slightly shorter name 'The Only Running Footman' (PW) I think it is even shorter now, 'The Footman'. (RL) The pub
