The morning after a night in the cells, Reverend Judd is led to a waiting cart by Police Constable Topping (Wally Patch). Christopher Matheson brings to our attention that a report in 'Kinematograph Weekly' dated Thursday 18th October 1934 stated "This sequence was shot outside the Shenley Road Police Station, to which Mr. Hay was brought on a hay-cart......". The station was actually in Harris Lane, Shenley in Hertfordshire and a photograph c1901 of the station and officers can be seen at www.shenleymiscellany.wordpress.com The station, now a private residence, is in Harris Lane almost facing the junction with Anderson Road.
