If you have any information regarding this production, the locations or, even better, some comparison shots please contact us. Images submitted must be in Landscape orientation, as would be seen on the cinema screen, not Portrait.

We are aware that there are films on the site that were added when the criteria for the inclusion of locations was very different from today and, as a result, there may be scenes missing from some productions. Please do not forward additional screen captures to us but bring the detail to our attention, for we do, and are, 're-addressing' these older entries as time allows.

The Jolly Fiddler Hotel where all the action takes place. Stephen Blanchard drew our attention to a post by Mark Littlefield on the MGM site that questions whether this could be Pinks Hotel in Shenley, Hertfordshire which he visited quite a few times but unfortunately can't recall what it looked like. Recognising the building, Greg Tweedie tells us that he worked at Pinks as a barman for a few months in the early 1970s adding that some interesting characters hung out there at the time. "One old guy who owned a nearby health farm would visit each day with two "goons". The word was that he had been a double agent during World War II and was awarded a security detail."

Antony Blair confirms the current name as Pinks Farm.

Driven by Mr. Finch from headquarters, a car turns into the car park of The Jolly Fiddler. Confirmed as being outside Pinks Hotel on Rectory Lane to the north-east of Shenley. Another story that Greg Tweedie heard is that loot from the, then recent, "Blackpool diamond robbery", in which the Kray twins were involved, was divvied up in one of the front bedrooms.

Sixty years later by Antony Blair.

Mr. Finch (John Loder) leads new waitress Caroline Mallet (Billie Whitelaw) into the building. Pinks Hotel on Rectory Lane in Shenley, Herefordshire, still standing as a private home and located with the help of Stephen Blanchard and a post on the MGM website by Mark Littlefield. Greg Tweedie recalls that 'A Clockwork Orange' was filmed in the area and the catering van was always parked in the hotel's car park. "There was a scene in the movie featuring a car racing down Rectory Lane."

Antony Blair took this off angle but a wider view of the property.
